Therapy for adults in Nashville and across Tennessee
Compassionate support for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions
You may be carrying the effects of a painful experience, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, grieving a loss, or repeating patterns you want to change. Therapy can help you understand what you are experiencing, develop healthier ways of responding, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
I provide individual therapy for adults in Nashville and through secure telehealth throughout Tennessee.
You Don't Have to Work Through This Alone
People begin therapy for many reasons. You may know exactly what you want to address, or you may simply feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.
Trauma and PTSD
Anxiety and Chronic Stress
Depression and low mood
Grief and loss
Relationship and family of origin patterns
Life transitions
Low self-esteem
Boundaries and people-pleasing
Recurring patterns that may feel like self-sabotage
These struggles may reflect experiences you have endured, relationships that shaped you, or coping strategies that once helped protect you. Therapy offers a place to understand them with compassion and begin creating new possibilities.
Therapy Tailored to You
No single approach is right for every person. Depending on your needs, our work may include supportive talk therapy, family-of-origin and relational exploration, EMDR, grounding and emotional-regulation skills, and practical strategies for stress, communication, and boundaries.
My holistic approach considers the connections among thoughts, emotions, physical responses, relationships, values, and spirit. Together, we will identify the approaches that best support your goals.
Meet Emily Bond, MEd, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than two decades of experience helping adults navigate trauma, depression, grief, relationship concerns, and major life changes. I earned my graduate degree in counseling from Vanderbilt University in 2005, began my clinical career at Centerstone, and opened my Nashville private practice in 2012.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I listen carefully, help clients recognize meaningful connections and patterns, and offer tools that can support change outside the therapy room.
In-Person and Online Therapy
Sessions are available in person at my Nashville office and by secure telehealth for adults located in Tennessee. I provide individual therapy for adults and do not currently offer couples, family, child, or adolescent counseling.
